Redemption?? What the hell!!!!!

Yeah, it’s happened to many of us, including myself.

First, let me break it down for you. When a domain expires (.com .net etc) you have 29 days to renew it at the normal price. If you fail to renew the domain in 29 days the dreaded redemption sets in. This is an additional 45 day period in which you can still renew your domain but it’s going to cost you about $250.

Now, so many of you get all pissed off and scream, and rant etc. Think about this logically. When a domain expires all services stop. No more email, no more website, nothing. Your domain will redirect to a parking page and stay there until it’s renewed, sold, or re-registered. How can  you possibly get all ben out of shape when you know good and well that your domain needs to0 be renewed EVERY YEAR!!!! Don’t blame it on your registrar, or hosting company, or your sisters cat. Blame it on yourself for not paying attention to important details. The email that every registrar or hosts sends out as a reminder is a customer courtesy and is not required. Your domain is your responsiblity. Deal with it and take it out on the person that is actually fault….YOU..
